An Association Worth Participating In
Dear Members,
Greetings. I am Park Jong-chang,
President of the 26th Korean Radiological Technologists Association (KRTA).
Greetings. I am Park Jong-chang,
President of the 26th Korean Radiological Technologists Association (KRTA).
I will listen closely to every member. I will faithfully and transparently implement the commitments I have made so that the voices from the field become policy and those policies lead to meaningful action. Communication will always remain my highest priority, and I will repay your trust with responsible leadership.
We now stand at an important turning point. From this moment forward, the association’s compass will be guided solely by one goal: improving the lives of our members. We will move beyond outdated practices and formalities and pursue practical, evidence-based approaches that place members’ real benefits at the center of all our work.
First, we will strengthen tangible benefits for members who pay association dues.
Members who faithfully pay their dues will experience meaningful benefits, including reduced education fees and improved professional training opportunities. Membership will become a valuable investment in professional growth.
Second, we will actively protect the professional rights of radiological technologists.
We will no longer tolerate the infringement of our scope of practice. Through a dedicated reporting system, we will respond to cases of unauthorized practice and pursue legislative and institutional improvements, including efforts toward the enactment of a Radiological Technologists Act that strengthens legal protection for our profession.
Third, we will build a transparent and participatory association.
By introducing transparent governance and external auditing systems, we will ensure that membership dues are used responsibly. We will also expand member participation through online voting and survey-based policy decision systems so that members can directly contribute to the direction of the association.
Fourth, we will prepare for the future expertise required in the AI era.
As the medical environment rapidly evolves, the association will support radiological technologists in becoming key experts in AI-based imaging technologies. We will promote specialized training programs and establish professional education platforms to strengthen future competencies.
Dear Members,
The association must not simply preserve the past—it must prepare for the future of its members. We will move forward with unity, respect, and collaboration, building an association where every member is valued.
Your encouragement will inspire us to move forward, and your constructive advice will always be welcomed with humility.
Thank you for your continued interest and support.
