Introduction

Dear Members and Esteemed Guests, I am Han Jung-Hwan, President of the Korean Radiological Technologists Association (KRTA). I am delighted to welcome you all.

Since its establishment in 1965, the KRTA has devoted itself for the past 60 years to protecting the rights of radiological technologists in Korea, enhancing their professional capabilities, and advancing medical imaging technology. The association has spared no effort in providing support, education, and policy initiatives to ensure that radiological technologists, who are responsible for public health and safety in clinical settings, can work with pride and confidence.

In particular, the KRTA Scientific Congress has become a flagship event of our association, serving as a vital platform for deepening professional expertise and sharing the latest developments in medical imaging and academic knowledge. Through active communication and collaboration with experts from home and abroad, the congress greatly contributes to understanding current trends in radiological technology and strengthening practical competencies that can be directly applied in clinical practice.

In this era of rapid changes in healthcare and technological innovation, we are witnessing the growing importance of the radiological technologist's role. In response, the KRTA will continue to promote the professionalization of our field and pioneer new areas of practice through ongoing education programs and research initiatives.

Furthermore, in line with the ethical code of radiological technologists, which emphasizes the duty to "strive for lifelong learning in pursuit of profound academic research and technological advancement," the KRTA will dedicate all its resources to supporting the continued growth and development of our members.

Looking ahead, the KRTA promises to walk alongside all of you, elevating the social value and status of radiological technologists, and serving as a steadfast partner in the promotion of public health.

We sincerely ask for your continued interest and support.

Thank you.
